Craig saw things in his community and state that needed attention, so he rolled up his sleeves and went to work.
He saw the need to improve education, so he devoted his time and energy to helping NJ Morris County College and eventually became Chairman of the Board of Trustees.

He also saw issues involving missing and exploited children, so he helped initiate a national media campaign to raise money and awareness. He worked to promote anti-drug education, H.E.L.P for the Homeless, the fight against Leukemia, and produced and promoted a concert featuring top names in the music industry to fund a Vietnam Veterans Memorial that stands on the Garden State Parkway.
His involvement with veterans and education led to an invitation by then President George H.W. Bush to speak at Liberty State Park about the sacrifices made by members of our military.
Along the way, Craig has supported and worked for numerous Conservative candidates. He was an honorary Delegate to the convention that nominated Ronald Reagan, and over the past 35 years he has been a leading supporter of NJ Republican candidates for Governor, Congress, Freeholder, State Assembly, and State Senate.
